The Sacrament of Baptism is held on the first Saturday of each month at 5 pm in the Church. Parents anticipating the birth of a child must attend a Baptism Preparation Class. Classes are held on the first Monday of each month in the homes of the Baptismal team at 6:00 pm. See the contact number for more information. The child's original birth certificate or proof of birth from the hospital must be provided. Prior registration is required. Please contact us to register. Baptisms are not celebrated during the Lenten Season.
First Penance & First Holy Communion
Children who are in the second grade and are enrolled in Saint Philip Neri Religious Education Program must attend special classes preparing them to receive these sacraments. Family participation is stressed. Pre-registration is required.
Participants who are in the eleventh grade and enrolled in Saint Philip Neri Religious Education Program are required to attend classes beginning in September in order to properly prepare for the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation. Pre-registration is required.
Couples planning to celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage in Saint Philip Neri Catholic Church must obtain and read a copy of the Wedding Policy. Couples are to meet with a priest at least six months prior to the intended wedding date to allow sufficient time for marriage preparation as directed by Diocesan Policy. Call the parish office to make an appointment with our priest or deacon. All engaged couples must plan to meet with our Wedding Coordinator before purchasing any items or inviting persons to participate in the wedding. (Weddings are not celebrated during the Season of Lent.)
